Emma Brewster: Too Hot to Handle by Mary Moriarty

Genre: Paranormal/Witches

Pages: 102

Format: eBook

Rating: ★★★

The plot of this book was interesting and I think there’s a lot you can do with it. That’s why I gave this book 3 stars. If it wasn’t for the decent plot, I would have easily lowered my rating. This book needs some serious editing. It wasn’t so much spelling mistakes but wording in general. First of all things were repeated way too many times. "He knew her as a girl" "They grew up together" "I’ve seen her grow up". We get it, everyone in that town knows Emma and her family. The one cat Mika had about two or three different spellings which was annoying but whatever. I think what aggravated me the most was the fact that there are sex scenes, which I don’t mind, they were done tastefully, but when you have scenes like that why can’t you come up with a better word than "whoha" or "who ha" depending where you read in the book? It wasn’t funny, it was quirky, it was just annoying.
