I ended up waiting to read this book with the audiobook and I’m so happy I did! Obviously you can do one or the other, and I did end up listening to a chunk of it while I was walking to and from work, but the book had pictures throughout it that. I think my favorite part of this is The Middle of the Book. You’ll have to read it to find out what I’m talking able!

I’m not one to read autobiographies. I’m not one to read nonfiction in general, but when I saw Matt Lucas had an autobiography out I jumped on it. He and David Walliams have been favorites of mine because of shows like Little Britain and Come Fly With Me. Lou and Andy are our favorite characters. My boyfriend and I will just randomly say “Yeah, I know” or “I don’t like it” when the opportunity arrises. What’s funny is because not a lot of people from the US knows what theses shows are they look so confused when we say it. We’re thinking of getting a sticker of Lou and Andy for the back of our car.

Matt Lucas’ life was so interesting to hear about with the beginnings of his career and how my favorite shows came to be. I appreciated hearing what he went through, good and bad, to get where he is today. He obviously deserves all the credit he’s earned and I’m looking forward to the next thing he does, starring in and writing.
